My fiance and I cancelled our big wedding that was set to happen back in January and as a result lost deposits on a lot of stuff. We rescheduled the wedding for March and reduced the guest list all the way down to just 20 people. I don't want to go back to the catering route and decided to try and do everything myself. The wedding is going to take place at 2 pm on a Sunday, and the reception will probably begin around 3 pm.
You wouldn't expect a full meal at that time of the day right? I was think to just have a lite fare reception with drinks and desserts.
How does this sound for a menu...
Veggie/cheese/fruit platter
Meatballs
Grilled chicken skewers
Mashtini Bar (Mashed potatoes served in martini glasses)
Dessert bar (cookies, cake, brownies)
Drinks (wine, beer, water, soda)
Would you be satisfied with that at 3 pm? Anything I should add or get rid of?
