So my hubby will hear on Wednesday if his friends company would like him to go work on the rigs. He is a journeymen plumber/gas fitter and I guess they need guys like him right now up north.

His schedule will be 2 weeks on 1 week off, which is great compared to some places. But it is still sad that he is leaving.

I am determined even more to look great! I want him to come home every 2 weeks and notice a difference in me

My husband went to Vancouver Island winter of 2010 for a month at a time to build a house (he's a carpenter) and it really motivated me to lose more and hit my goals.

Yup, we are finally warming up! Getting TONS of chinooks which mean TONS of migraines unfortunately but its worth it for warmer weather!!!

Hi fellow canadians!!

In the last couple years of my last relationship my bf had to move back home to winnipeg to take care of his dieing father.
We only got to see each other every 2 months or so and I always worked out so hard while we were apart so I could show up at the airport lookin good. But then his bad habits would rub off on me and I'd be back to where I started from after we had to go back.

But I agree, being apart is kinda sweet in that way.
