I think it is always import to remember that addiction is a one day at a time process. That I will always be an addict. I will live my recovery and accept that there will be bumps along the way. I will never let the fumbles get me down. There are times when I will want to give up and feel hopeless. I will not give in or give up. I pledge to myself that I will care for me, treat my body as the gift it truly is and put my recovery first. I can not take care of others if I can not take care of myself.

Thank you for posting these lovely words. For some reason today is a hard day... ok - the last hour has been hard. Weird how it all ebbs and flows. I appreciated reading your post. It reminded me of why I am doing this, and to take it one day (and one moment) at a time. Thank you again.
