I know exactly what you mean about how this seems like a gigantic journey. But people have told me, if you have a mountain to move, you have to start with the first couple rocks at first. Or something like that.

Basically, it's like others have said - break it down into smaller increments. I may not be able to fathom losing 200 pounds, but I can wrap my mind around losing just 5 or 10 pounds.
By the way, I'm Luna! I'm 32, I live in Northern Virginia, I love music, movies and blogging, and I started this weight loss journey at over 200 pounds overweight myself. I began by slowly eliminating sweets and junk food from my diet in phases, then counting calories and walking several times a week, and finally giving up diet soda. In the course of 3 months, I've lost 40 pounds! I'm pretty proud of myself so far.
