Hi from Wyoming

  • Hi, I started this program on Monday. Its been 5 days and I have lost 10 pounds this week and 18 total since I started trying to loose weight in October. I started just by working out and not changing my eating habits. So hopefully this works for me as it has been this week. I am currently not following it with a dr due to cost but I have the paperwork from a friend that I am following it on my own and trying to make it as close as I can.

    I am 34 years old with 3 fun kiddos who are 8, 6 and 3.
    I'm hoping to get some new recipe ideas. Not sure how to search for recipes though.

    We do have a recipes forum (http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/recipes-218/), or if you're following a specific plan, there are often recipes posted in that specific forum (Atkins, etc.)
  • Bearcub, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering arouns specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 30-Somethings!
