Ground Almonds Allowed?

  • Hi, I went to the grocery store today and saw ground almonds. It looks like a flour but when I looked at the ingredients, it only contains almonds. Would this be allowed in Phase 1?

    Same with soya flour?

  • In Ph 1, you aren't supposed to have any flours - something about how the body processes them versus whole nuts I believe. I am sure other beachers have the correct opinion though.

    For me, it was really important to have a real, meaningful Ph 1 so I went without things like this and went strictly book. Ph 1 sets the foundation for the rest of your eating!
