Getting back on track

  • I am back in the game. I have lost track with the move and Christmas(as some of you may remember from the Christmas Challenge).

I am sorry to say I may have gained between 5-8 lbs over the course of moving and Christmas. It's been a hectic last few weeks and I have eaten lots of junk food and indulged in baked goods and candy. I feel yucky from eating too many sweets and it's time to get this back on track.

TMI but by the New Year TOM should be gone and I should be an idea of how much I am weighing these days. Then, I will change my ticker. As for today, I will be tracking, getting my water consumption to where it should be, and vowing NO CANDY. Hopefully, my headaches from this head cold will cooperate and I can get some working out done. I have been superbusy doing physical work from moving to painting so hopefully I will find that has benefitted me with offsetting the calorie consumption.
  • Best wishes---It happens to the best of us. What's most important is that you're getting right back on track.
  • It is so easy to go off track during the holidays, but you had the extra challenge of a move. Look at the long term progress you've made, though! Way to go!
  • I'm sure you'll feel much better without all the extra sugar in your system, and as was said, realizing you've gotten off track and getting right back on are what works in the long run!
  • Well ended up at 1750 for the day. I'll take it!
  • I need to get back on track too, good luck!
  • yup....am with you....getting back on track and my clothes are tighter and PMSing ain't helping either lol.......but little changes go a long way..no quick fixes
  • Doing ok. I ended up with yesterday being between 1750-1900 cals, not ideal, but i'll take it. I'd like for that to get a little bit lower but I prefer to ease back into calorie reduction so I don't get super hungry. After a few days I can reduce and not feel famished.

I suppose I should mosey on over to the daily accountability thread with these updates. Sometimes, I forget we have all these great threads going on here.
  • 5.9, 199 - I'd say you've done GREAT! You have your game head on right now and you're easing into it. You have the goal in sight and right now where you are at is better than you were 40+ pounds ago. YOU GOT THIS! Keep it up.
  • Just keep on keeping on!

Every good decision will make the next good decision a little easier!
