question about gum?

  • Hello
I know gum is not encouraged but who chews it and do you really think chewing sugarfree gum affects weight loss results?
I miss gum and find it helps in many situations but I feel I am cheating everytime I chew it.
    Thoughts?
  • In Finland, we have gum that is 100% Xylitol and allowed on our diet. Tons of great flavors...from the basic spearmint/peppermint to new flavors like Lemongrass, Caramel Apple, Caramel Cranberry, Liquorice, and more.

Note that it must be the "Professional" range (100% xylitol) to be approved for our diet.

This appears to be available for distribution in Canada and the US. But not Germany. Really!
  • My coach told me the white tic tacs are allowed and "free food". I know chewing helps but the tic tacs seem to work for me. Hope this helps.
  • Dentyne cinnamon gum is allowed as it has sucralose.
  • Thank you
    this helps a lot!!
  • I chew sugarless gum sometime! It really helps!
  • In the whatever it is worth category, I asked my coach about gum and she said that her team attended an IPD National Seminar and that absolutely NO GUM at all, no matter what. Regardless of which sweetner is in the gum, she reported that there are other items in gum that have negative effects on the organs. I told her that this forum coaches suggest otherwise and she was adamant. Just an FYI.....
