I actually *feel* lighter

  • This is so bizarre! I still have quite a ways to go, a bit over half way but today, I actually FEEL lighter? I ran inside to school in the rain and wasn't even winded. I biked 13 miles. I'm just bouncy (no not like that LOL!).

I thought it would take much longer to feel this good. I think the exercise piece is actually helping! GASP!
  • Hee hee you and I are so close to everything! I felt this too when I woke up this morning, I'm like OMG I feel so light on my feet!

So proud of you girl! You are starting to FEEL skinny and light! Or more FIT and light! I can't wait to hear your halfway to goal post, you gotta post pics! I mean you do have a whole inch on me haha Your are so not far from halfway done, crazy eh? To think that it's that close and you can look back and say SEE YA LATA OLD UNHEALTHY SELF! And look forward and say HELLO REAL HEALTHY ME
  • Exercise really does help! Who woulda thunk?

Seriously, I've been exercising intermittently for years. Since July, I've exercised at least 6 days a week, for at least an hour a day, and the benefits are so much more noticeable! I think I'm in love with my recumbent bike.
  • I know how you feel. I realized after I lost about 25 pounds that I move differently. I bounce to music when I'm standing in line at the grocery store, for instance. It's all hard to describe to someone who hasn't lost weight, but I think we all know what you mean!

  • That is fantastic! I know what you mean. I live on the third floor and noticed last week that it seemed easier to haul my hiney to the top
  • I love threads like these. They motivate me to stick to my plan so I too can feel what you're feeling one day.
  • I've had a noticible change in energy in losing what I have so far so I can't imagine how great I will feel when I get down to where you guys are!
  • I know what thats like. I seriously have the energy of a hyper-active child right now. None of my friends can keep up with me and I have a hard time sitting still. Its so different when your so much heavier and not excerising. Even the slightest walk could get you winded..Has anyone ever tried lifting the amount of weight you lost and carried it around for a bit? I couldn't even do it
