Watching the early morning news I saw a doctor discussing a "new" approach to diabetes type 2. Apparently it has been discovered that going on a 500 calorie diet for four months in order to lose weight quickly has helped many type 2 people being able to come off their meds and lead an altogether more healthy life.
In view of the fact that there are so many ready to jump into action the minute I confess to being on a 1000 cal diet I hate to think of the response should this be my next move....
