15lb down in 3 months

  • I was so excited this morning for my weigh in...I am down 15lbs. I know it is not a huge amount but it is usually around this time that I start to slip up and gain.

And I don't feel the least bit like sabotaging myself

This is a big mental step for me whoo hoo
  • Congrats! That's fantastic! Remember, slow and steady wins the race
  • 15 pounds is huge! Congratulations!!
  • Congrats....The scale is going down....I bet you feel great!
  • Good 4 u!
  • I am in the same place (13lbs in a little over 2 months) and usually break down around here. I'm also trucking forward!
  • Way to go! I'm also finding that WW is changing my mentality faster than my weight but it's worth it!
  • Congratulations...are you sharing your food journal? looking for some great ideas/tips
  • Thanks everyone!

Have not shared my journal but a typical routine for me is pack a sandwitch bag of celery, and a small tub of cucumber & grape tomatoes. In all about 7-8 cups of veggies (these are such great munchie stuff) I am a grazer and always like to have something handy by the end of the afternoon these are all gone
Breakfast usually egg beaters and salsa
Lunch usually broth based soup 1.5 cups
Dinner usually a lean protien, a dariy, and sometimes more veggies or a fruit
Snack after dinner, 94% fat free popcorn and a glass of wine (or two)

Gym everyday for 45-65 min on elliptical and weights every 3rd day

Weekends are a bit harder but those veggies ride along with me everywhere, plus plenty of water at least 10 glasses
  • "A glass of wine(or two)"

    Love This.
  • I think everyone should try the wine vs the whine diet LOL

Just have to counter it with exercise
  • Absolutely! And what I love is that a glass of red wine is good for the heart, so it feels like a less naughty treat in the evening, than finding something sweet (even if its low cal)
