2-day challenge - ON PLAN 11.17 & 11.18

  • I promise myself to stay on plan tomorrow, November 17, 2011 and Friday, November 18, 2011. I will post on here whether I was successful or not, but I know I will be successful. Anyone is welcome to join my two-day challenge.

    I'm ready to go!
  • Love this! I want to join you!!

I promise to stay on plan tomorrow and Friday also.
  • I'm with you. I've gone to the gym every day this week, so I can easily give myself an excuse to slack off. This is pefrect!
  • All right, I am in!

  • gracesmomma, Amber1011 and KellieGettingFit!

I look forward to sharing in your success (speaking what's to become...)

I know today will be a great day for me. A business meeting scheduled for today and tomorrow was cancelled. That is one less temptation to fight against today (and tomorrow).
  • I was successful yesterday, November 17, 2011

I weighed myself this morning, and I lost a little over one pound.

Here's to another successful day! I hope everyone else is doing great. Let's end this 2-day challenge on a good note.
  • Even though my BFF and I and our two toddlers stopped by Cheesecake factory yesterday for dessert, I STILL came out totally within my calories! Just an FYI, the Godiva brownie sundae is probably the least damaging dessert on the menu, especially if split 3 ways (and we didn't eat one of the 3 brownies).

Played racquetball with my husband this morning and weight trained. Body very stubbornly maintained over the last week though.
  • for maintaining your calories AND for staying on plan Kellie. Your baby is so cute!

Last night I failed miserably. Habits are so hard to break. On Friday nights I usually sit at home with takeout and Netflix. I don't know how many calories were in the food but judging from the amount I ate, I know it was way more than it should have been. Ah well. Today is another day.
  • It took me such a long time to have that "Tomorrow is another day" mentality, FassGal, so good for you! I am not going to eat perfectly every day for my next 70+ years of life, so why beat myself up over it? I have cheat days. I will get over it and get back on track LOL.
  • Thanks! I did great until late last night. We went to Fuddruckers for an early dinner and I was so good and put half my turkeyburger in a to go container right away and ate the other half and apple slices (!!) instead of fries. All was well and good until 10 or so when I got really hungry again and instead of making myself something good, ate the other half. I was still (barely) within my calories for the day, but it wasn't the best choice.

The hardest thing for me to learn has been that I don't have to wait until tomorrow to get back on track!
  • thanks aBroadAbroad! Life is meant for living, and obsessing over mistakes isn't how I'd like to live.

Kellie, I am still struggling with learning that I don't have to wait until tomorrow to get back on track. One day (soon) I'll get there! thanks for doing this challenge with me
  • I didn't end up going to the gym because I rolled my ankle, and it was quite sore, but I stayed on plan otherwise! I saw a drop on the scale! *woot*
