November Weight Loss Challenge!

    It's November, which means that the big food holidays are nearly upon us. Let's get ourselves set up to weather Thanksgiving well with some early weight loss in November, and a final weight for the month that puts us ahead of the game in preparation for the December holidays!

    The rules of our challenge are simple. We are here to provide each other some accountability along the path to weight loss, so just set a weight loss related goal(s) and I'll add it to our goal list for the month of November. When you reach your goal for the month it will be turned RED in our goal list!

    We have a sister thread for exercise goals, http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...challenge.html, and all your exercise-related goals can be posted there; this thread is for weight loss goals specifically.

    We love to hear about your success as well as your challenges throughout the month, so please share them with us. We're here to support and encourage each other to be our best.

    I'm going to try for 3lb again which will take me down to 122lb

    And i'm going to be very excited by the end of Nov if i can actually get there!
  • As usual, I'll post my starting weight and monthly goal on Nov 1 after I see how October finishes up. Regardless though it will be a goal in the 160s, which is just unbelievable to me. I haven't been in the 160s since I was 15 years old - more than half my life ago!

  • I am looking forward to startng fresh in November, because I have not done well in October. I started at 130 (after losing 15 pounds since May) with a goal of losing 3 more pounds. I did get down to 128, but then gained back and now I am 131. (I had a medical scare which caused the doctor to say not to stress my heart with exercise while we check things out, but that is no excuse for gaining.)

    This is a hard time of the year for me, because it is too cool to swim laps in the apartment pool. That means jogging. While I like the way I feel when I work out, the truth is... I don't like to sweat.

    Thank you for this thread, which I will embrace as a chance to get back on track. I meet with the cardiologist Oct 31, so by Nov 1 I should have a good idea of what I can do for exercise. (I'm old... almost 56 )

    Edited to set goal of losing 4 pounds from November 1 weight. I will post that weight on November 1. Sadly, I think it's higher than it was on October 1.
  • I'm up for a challenge! My goal is to reach 255 lb. by the end of November. (a loss of 8.4lb)

  • I'm in! Starting weight will be 171.6. My goal is to get to 166, a loss of 5.6 pounds.
  • Hey Chicks, add me too... No more holiday weight gains in 2011 I want to lose 10# more before Valentine's Day & reach my 141# goal. I need candy + dessert recipes that are: Low sugar/carbs, Low sodium & have some Fiber so I can eat like the skinny people do during the holidays
  • I'll join you ladies in this challenge. I would like to be down 6 pounds by Nov 30. I am stating at 219. That will bring me down to 213.
  • I'm in, I'd like to lose 6 pounds putting me at 145
  • I'm in...I want to lose 8 lbs by Nov. 30...I am dead set on it I am starting at 209 LBs so I will be down to 201 lbs.
  • This is my first challenge and I wish to loose 10lbs by Nov 30. My starting weight is 234.

    I'm starting the 12-week TurbiFire Challenge 10/31/11 and my goal is to lose 20lbs (may be reaching high but I think/know I can do it! ) & to stick to the turbofire class schedule 100%

  • chickadee32, I'm 151# right now, so my November goal will be -4# less of me: goal = 147# If I lose -5#, I'm buying myself a present Thanks for the motivation but I can't get my ticker until I'm here for 20 days . I'll drop in & list my weekly weight loss/gain from my TOPS chapter scale & in a few weeks I can have a ticker
