I started my new lifestyle almost a month ago
and have been - slowly - losing weight.I'm currently calorie counting and NOT carb counting. Although I avoid obvious carbs: potatoes, pasta, bread). I do eat carbs in the form of weeatbix, sweet potatoes, a few table spoons of rice - let's say 4 or 5. Most of my lunches and dinners are low carb though.
I am fully aware my body reacts quickly and well to low carb diets, I just find them very difficult to follow, and here is why: snacks. I can have low calorie meals, but snacks... What to eat?
I often snack on an apple, a banana, a pack of those Kelloggs snacks, three "healthy" biscuits, etc. Basically these are carb packed... So for daily snacks I eat about two apples a day and one of those packs of cookies (30grams of cookies: 137 calories and 6grams of carbs).
So, let's say I want to avoid dairy and carbs, what can I put in my bag to snack on about 2 or 3 times a day, between meals?
I've used those cheese triangles before, but that's all I can think of
Please help!
