  • I'd imagine tofu would work in there as well.

I'd vaguely heard of konnyaku but I hadn't realised it was calorie-free. What's it like? I can't really imagine a food that is calorie-free, let alone one being pleasant to eat! On looking it up, apparently producing it involves eggshells, so as a good little vegan I won't be eating this myself, but I remain intrigued to hear other people's experiences.
  • When prepared correctly and used in Asian dishes, these noodles are scrumptious! I didn't try them in dishes like American spaghetti or with an Alfredo sauce.

Maybe that's why I always liked them - I make them in Asian noodle bowls or stir fry. By the way, you can pan fry them to make them like the crispy noodles you can get at a lot of different Asian restaurants.

Warning - I tried to eat an entire package (2 servings) and it does fill you up because of the expansion of the noodles.

Yes! They do expand & when you pair them with a bunch of yummi veggies, it really satisfies you for a long time
