NSV - sort of!

  • I went shopping yesterday for new shoes and grabbed a whole bunch in my usual 8.5 size. And every single pair was too big. Who knew that I was losing weight in my feet???

But I don't want them to get any smaller because I want all the shoes I already own to still fit!
  • Got a nice pair of jeans on sale for 7.99 Wow size 16 so so comfortable . I will be wearing these alot this winter !
  • good job Dumplin! But I bet you won't be wearing them all that much because they will get too big! lol! That's what keeps happening with my clothes, esp. jeans. I am making sure to not spend more than 10-15 dollars right now, so that I don't mind too much when I keep "outgrowing" them (ingrowing? lolol!)
  • I had no idea that feet lost weight! Mine are wide so there might be hope for me.
  • April - My DH says my feet are anorexic. I have gone from my shoes being 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 to 4 - 5 1/2. I can even shop in the kids' department now, my new winter boots were only $16 thanks to that. It is insane. I was sad about my shoes (I had an awesome skechers collection), but then DH pointed out that I would need new shoes eventually anyway to match all of my new smaller clothing.

As for the clothing sizes - I use outshrinking to describe what I am doing and I refuse to spend much on anything too, though I did get a new pair of Levi's to celebrate size 6.
  • i love my shrinking feet! 10W-11 was what i'd have to get, ALL THE TIME. now i can get regular 10s, some 9.5s and i even managed to wear a size 9w once already.
  • Oooooh, that's a great NSV!! Congratulations.

IDK if you saw my post about having to buy men's shoes, cause my feet are so wide. I'm looking forward to being able to buy shoes in stores instead of online!
  • I lost a bit in my feet, too. Mostly going from 9.5 wide or 10 average to a 9.5 average. My favorite sandals are too big and I can't bring myself to get rid of them. Leather flip flops (nice ones) with leather flowers on the outside straps. Soft beige and dusty pinks. They are a perfect match to a favorite skirt that I altered so it still fits. Chalk it up to "who knew!" The only thing that didn't change is my sock size! LOL.

  • Yes April Snow, I do plan on those jeans getting to big for me soon ! Thanks for believing in me

I no longer have to wear wide calf boots !!! WOO HOO !!!
