Quite Proud of myself!

  • I live in the US, however, I'm originally from Canada. This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada. I throw a big meal for friends for Canadian Thanksgiving. Last year it threw me way off of WW and basically was the beginning of me going off track for several months.

BUT this year, I did great! I barely snacked beforehand on appetizers, I had a couple small pieces of cheese, and sampled only one of my oven-fried ravioli. Then I ate one plate of food, most of which was veggies (I made an amazing carrot/butternut squash roasted veggie dish). I had a piece of pie, but only one. Overall, quite a success.

The scale this morning tells me I did well as I'm within 0.2lbs of the weight I was on Saturday morning. I figure maintaining over a holiday is a success all on its own!
  • Nice Job!
Were just headed for Canadian Thanksgiving right now and my plan is to eat what I want, but keep my portions smaller and enjoy! Glad you did so well, that rocks
  • That IS a success!!! No doot aboot it!
  • That is AMAZING! Well done!

    LOL!

    chubbybunny, that's amazing!

I also managed to cut the portions a bit, and I maintained over the weekend. Yay!

Happy (late) Canadian thanksgiving to you
  • Congratulations!

I'm already starting to strategize about my food intake for the US Thanksgiving holiday coming up. Will definitely focus on veggies but potatoes are my weakness!
  • Mine too usually, and bread. But I was really craving my roasted veggie dish so I had more of that. It was butternut squash, carrots and a few cut up red potatoes.
