Tis the season for BOOTS!

  • Hey ladies...

I've always had trouble fitting into the cute fall knee high boots. My wide calves NEVER fit into them. It's infuriating!

Luckily, my prayers were answered on my last visit to LB.They have about 5 or 6 CUTE styles of knee high boots that fit my stumpy legs perfectly! Love, love, love! Why didn't they think of this sooner?
  • I am the same way. I can never find any that fit. I got a really cute pair of steve madden one's at TJmaxx last night for $40. I wish i were able to find real leather one though What is LB?
  • LB is Layne Bryant, right?

Of course the plus size stores are getting cute boots when I am no longer plus size. Haha.

I really want to get some cute boots now. I always had the same problem; my calves wouldn't fit into boots! I got annoyed because I always thought boots looked cute

A few weeks ago I went to Forever 21 with some friends and I tried on some really nice boots. THEY FIT PERFECTLY. I almost cried because I was so sure they would be tight and they weren't! I didn't have the money to buy them, unfortunately, but I want to go boot shopping soon
  • I used to have the same problem, that's awesome that you found a good pair!

I now have the opposite problem and all the boots are too wide on my calves, why couldn't my body have found a happy medium?
  • I always want to wear knee high boots but my calves NEVER fit into any and it really depresses me.. maybe I'll take a look at LB..
  • They look hot and slimming with leggings or skinny jeans/jeggings! They make me feel sexy & confident.

PS I do NOT work at Lane Bryant and I usually dislike their clothing. These boots just rock.
  • I tried on a pair of boots last week. I thought - finally - I might be able to wear them. BUT... my calves were still too big and I forgot about the horrors of boots and a high instep. When I get to my initial goal - I might go looking again. I guess I shouldn't judge one pair to all boots. I would love to strut some boots for once in my life! (I don't count my elementary school winter boots!)
