I work in a very laid back atmosphere (seriously, I can wear tshirts, shorts & flip flops to work!) but I had to buy a nice pair of black dress pants yesterday (for a very special meeting today) and the pair I bought is a size 12. A few years ago, I was quite upset that I had to buy "a size 12" because I'd gained 10 pounds. Now that I've lost 30+ pounds, I feel pretty darn happy at a size 12, as opposed to a very tight size 14 (I should have been in a size 16 at 192 pounds, but I was too darn stubborn to go up another size, so I kept squeezing my big ol'butt into a 14!!!) And I am looking forward to a size 10 in a few months.
I remember when I first hit a size 10... I was 32 years old and had reached a high weight of 152. I felt like a beached whale.

Pictures of me then were so.... distorted, in my eyes. BUT NOW!- now I look so forward to a size 10, I can't tell you how giddy I am at the thought of it!
What size/weight did you used to consider fat that you now consider thin?
