No longer want to be known as the "big girl"

  • Hello All! My name is Tiffany i'm 22 years old from Queens New York. I've been overweight my whole life. I'm 5"3 and I was at my biggest at 228 pounds. I started my weight loss journey in December 2010 by just calorie counting. However for the last 4 months i've been exercising daily and still going strong!
My weight loss seems to show more on my face than on my body but I can usually tell by how my clothes fit. I recently went down a bra size. I was originally a 2x in tops however now I can fit an xl and sometimes a large. Some days I get frustrated but i refuse to give up!
  • Great attitude! The more you've lost, the harder it gets to continue losing. This is a great place for support. Welcome to 3FC!
  • Hi Tiffany, I'm Tiffney! Welcome! I'm new too! Ha..Great attitude to have! Keep it up. At my last weigh in, I was 207! Except, I am NOT in my 20's. Do it while you are young honey. I'm 35 and it's a lot harder the older you get. But your determination is inspiring. Keep it up!
  • Hi Tiffany! Welcome to 3FC. Good luck with the rest of your weight loss journey!
  • I am new to this site as well, I just started going back strong to try and lose weight, as I just had a baby 4 months ago. I have always had a hard time with my weight, and was always known as the "big girl" in school. I am currently 215, if you would like to have a buddy or someone to talk to, I am here Congrats on dropping sizes that's great! Keep it up and don't get discouraged!!!
