Got a bathing suit today. Its the first actual bathing suit I have had in years. Usually I'd get baggy shorts and a t-shirt for a swim suit but now I actually went out and got one. Its cute too. But dont worry its one of those tank top/ skirt ones its a two piece that may as well be a one piece! But hey its the smallest I've been in a long time! I went from a 24/26 (i think) to a 18/20!! So happy!
Fantastic! I'm SO impressed with the size, for what it's worth. At 250 I wore a size 20W bathing suit. I don't do much swimming, but needed one in late August. I was keeping my eyes open all summer and finally bought a tank top/skirt bottom suit at Kohl's at the end of July in a size 12. That was at 170 pounds. You must be feeling really proud of yourself and the progress you've made so far. I hope you get a lot of use out of this suit and then on to a smaller size very quickly! Keep up the great work!
Yay for swimming! So healthy, kind, and kickbuns on the caloric burn. And Yay for new swimsuits. I've ordered mine and it's due in soon. I can't wait. The pool has been calling to me.
Yay for you! Swimming feels so good and freeing. It is a big deal to be able to accept yourself going out in a bathing suit. Good for you. You will have so much fun.
