SB foods I'm in love with

  • I really love SB, I cant believe I waited so long to get on board. But since starting south beach I've tried some new foods, and some foods that I used to only eat occasionally but now eat pretty often. So here is my list and please feel free to share a list of foods you love too.

    Quinoa (my latest fav)
    Steel cut oatmeal
    Golden Flax meal
    Mesclun mix
    Baby english cucumbers
    feta cheese
    WW 100 cal sandwich thins (I make pizzas out of them)
    top round beef
    chicken tenderloin
    pork tenderloin
    london broil
    fish
    shellfish
    Beans (all kinds)
    laughing cow cheeses
    almonds
    walnuts
    pepitas
    sunflower seeds
    pureed organic baby foods like carrots & sweet potatoes to use to sweeten muffins & breakfast cookies It's easier than pureeing it myself
    Crystal light pure
    gelatin
    plan greek yogurt
  • kale
    kefir
    chia
    plain rolled oats
    agave nectar
    TACO BAKE!!! (not a single food but one of the best recipes in existence...)
  • Green monster smoothies
    Banana or applesauce sweetened overnight oats
    Unsweetened dark cocoa powder
    Quinoa, millet, amaranth, and bulgar wheat mixed together
    Kale (especially in chip form or baked with spaghetti squash and cottage cheese)
    whole grain flat outs as pizza crust

  • I wouldnt say new foods, but there are definitely combos that I have totally fallen in love with since starting SB:

    Organic peanut butter and apples (Never in my life thought I'd love this!)

  • I'm loving quinoa too, and that taco bake is just ridiculously good
    I miss cheese , gave dairy up to see if some of my health symptoms decrease.
  • I guess I need to try the taco bake! I need to add some more foods to this list.

    Chili! I love chili and ate it twice today.
    Green smoothies, although I'm only learning how to make them so some have been really horrible to choke down.
