My Leader Added My Weight Loss Wrong!

  • Has this ever happened to you?

I looked at my weight tracker to motivate myself because I've been having a hard week. I thought that I was only 2lbs away from 5% and I was thinking if I worked really hard and held my mouth the right way I might reach that goal at my weigh-in on Friday...but my leader added my weight loss incorrectly last week and I'm 3lbs away from 5%, not 2lbs.

Guess I have to wait at least one more week to get that goal.

Any tips for staying motivated? This is so hard!
  • You were 214 when you started. Now you are 170. So u have lost 40 lbs. Your goal weight is 125. So you have to lose 89lbs total. Out of that you have lost 40. Another 4.5lbs and you would attain 50% weightloss.
That is really great.keep up the good work.
  • I didn't look at it that way...I've only just started WW (again) lol.
  • If your leader did the math wrong, let them know. They are only human.

Mine is terrible at math, we have to correct her all the time!
  • Mine told me I GAINED 0.4 lbs this past week. I didn't have my weight tracker with me (forgot it at home) so she wrote it on the sticker for me to add into my book. When I went to add it into the book, I actually LOST 0.4 lbs this week (assuming she wrote the correct weight!). But I guess they'll fix it next week... :/
  • I have had that happen every once in a while in the past. They're only human, after all. It was very easy to fix at the next weigh-in, and they've always been happy to resolve it.

The most recent center I was (a couple years ago) at actually had computers! (Crazy, right?) They scanned our cards, and it automatically did the math, then printed out a sticker that we simply put into the weight tracker. Very efficient, and I never saw a mistake with it.
  • Wait, the computer doesn't do it automatically for them?
  • barbara--as lovely mentioned, some centers have an automated system, some do not. Mine doesn't.
