Hello :)

  • Hey everyone, I have just joined I have tried to lose weight so many times before now, and today I just though I have to do something now!

    My weight now is 238lbs and my goal weight is 126lbs.

    I've not had any support from my family in the past, so I've always gone at it alone. Then I found this forum, so hopefully I'll make some friends, and we can support each other

  • Welcome...we're both the same height & i was 234lbs when I started out and want to be 130..so our goals are really similar. So your not alone...Good luck on making your goal, im sure we'll both make it!

  • I've never been on a diet, this is my first time & im 21 and its going on 5 months...Im starting to reward myself with subway probably 2 or 3 times a month & that makes the thought of dieting easier for me lol So reward your self and maybe that will help with sticking to it..just a suggestion
  • Hi!! Welcome and good luck, the trick is not to think of it as a diet, and yes reward yourself. I gave myself gifts every 10lb I lost.

    I have rewarded myself in the past when I have lost weight, but it just makes me crave food more. I have a real problem with binge eating.
  • I had a problem with binge eating in August, i did it like six times & i think it was because i ate REALLY strict for over 4 months & deprived myself ...well maybe reward your self with clothes..make up..shoes?? Something other then food
