I was wondering if there are any advantages to belonging to the official South Beach site. Is anyone a member? Do you like it? Thanks.

I do not. I did do the free trial, however you need to be vigilant about cancelling on time since they take your credit card to start out with.

I was interested in making up weekly SBD friendly menus, then taking the menus and making grocery lists. The site claimed you would be able to do that. What I actually found, was that I couldn't enter anything which wasn't in their selection of menu choices.

I also perused their menus and didn't find anything great that I couldn't find here.

I have been with the friends here at 3FC for so long that I wasn't interested in getting in with any new forums.

What I did, instead was sign up with livestrong. I can track my food and exercise there and can make my own recipes for adding into my daily menus...and it's free.

Thank you for the feedback Debbie. I don't think I will be joining. 3fatchicks is a great site, and I'm happy here.
