I've been taking 2x dose of Potassium..

  • Hey guys,

I honestly don't know how I've been doing this or WHY in the world I did but it turns out, I'm in my 3rd week now and I just glanced at the Phase 1 sheet quickly to see that I am only suppose to take 1 potassium pill a day and I've been taking 2 a day...

Should I be worried for my health....again I don't know how I oversaw that
  • Hello,

I just looked into a PDF file about the IP supplements that should be taken, and here is the link by the way:

    http://www.ihpweightloss.com/Supplement_Overview-IP.pdf

It says that you should take 332 mgs of potassium per day, so check the box to see how many mgs it contains and if it's much more than what you are supposed to, don't worry too much, just stop and get back on the right track.
  • According to the IP bottle each tablet supplies 22% of the daily need so you should be okay. Just do one in the future.
  • Oh, I often take 2 of these a day..on purpose..to combat leg cramps and fatigue (and with that up my real salt) I do think I remember reading somewhere though to not take the two at the same time so I do one with breakfast and one with supper.
  • I take two a day as well. Leg cramps otherwise.
