    pork chops and applesauce
  • Curry and Naan bread, which is why i haven't had curry in a while!
  • Milk and cookies. hee hee
  • apples and cinnamon (even plain apples get a cinnamon dusting)
cauliflower and garlic (steamed and mashed together, or oven roasted)
salmon and lemon (heck, even my canned tuna gets doused with fresh lemon juice)
  • Grilled cheese and tomato soup. They cannot be apart!!

    It's ridiculously simple.

Break up your cauliflower into pieces. Toss with salt/pepper/spices (you can really have fun with curry, or wasabi, or garlic, or anything else you can dream up) and a little olive oil (I leave out the oil more often then not). Toss it on a cookie sheet or pan. Put in the oven at 425 until the edges start to darken, about 25-30 mins.

You can roast ALL vegetables like this. I can't wait for winter to start so that the root veggies and winter squashes come in season. I'll eat roasted veggies 2 out of 3 meals all winter long.
  • I agree with Pacifica... roasted vegetables are the best way to cook them. We had roasted cauliflower with just a garlic and herb spice mixture on top tonight and it was really yummy. I can easily eat half the head by myself in one sitting when it's cooked that way. The only one that I've had a hard time getting right is Broccoli.... if you have any good suggestions on how to do it without the very ends being burnt please let me know.
  • grilled asparagus and bacon YUMMO!!!!!

Same here. I love roast broccoli, but I can't get the temp and timing right, it's either too raw or burnt. That elusive middle ground is hard to find.
