Hi, I have been trying to lose weight for quite some time and have finally started to have some success. I think having some accountability will help and tops seems to be the most econimcal approach. I am not following any particular plan just eat better exercise more.
My question, do I have to have doctors approval to join???? I hate going to the dr and only do it once a year for my check up which isn't until middle of 2003. Can I just join to get weight in and listen to meetings or do I have to have a doctor's note???
Thanks
Hi there,
You have been here before haven't you? It just has been a long time. I remember you.
You do have to have a goal weight from your dr on a prescription pad. Can you just call your dr or stop in and have the nurse write your goal weight on the prescription pad for you. That is what I did. They need that weight for your goal weight for KOPS status.
I think that is a great approach to eat better and exercise. I am not keeping track of anything. Exercising 5 days a week and eating right and the weight is coming off along with the inches. It is all moderation and portion control and try to stay away from junk as much as possible. A little won't kill you.LOL
Good luck and stop back often.

Hockeychic....You do not have to have a doctors approval to join, but you must have a doctor set your goal before you reach your goal. You can join now and get your doctor to set your goal later.

Ninety percent of my members do not have their goal slips yet. A lot wait til they get close to goal.
