good bathing suit links

  • Does anyone know a good bathing suit link, and cover ups?
I have two bathing suits that make me look terrible. I wanted to get something to mostly minimize my stomach and chest, so I don't know what size, I need or what style is best. I've worn tankinis but htey tend to ride up, bu ti am smaller on the bottom that top and my legs are pretty toned. And I really don't think I'm going to find anything good in the stores, we are going to a water park and a late vacation, so any links or advice on what to wear appreciated. I think I just don't know what looks good or at least flattering, maybe I stil have myself in mind that was 30 pounds lighter, but what do I wear for now.
  • The vintage one-piece styles that are in right now are really flattering. They have wide straps that are spaced far apart do you don't have that underarm/sideboob fat thing going on, most of them have ruching over the entire suit, and the chest coverage is really good!

I am sure you could find that in stores too, and it'll be a good price cause it's the end of the season!

If you can't find anything in stores, go to modcloth.com and go to their swimwear section, all the swimwear comes in plus size and in many different colours!
  • juicy couture has super cute swimdresses (google that). I actually bought one myself because it's so cute. I would wear it at my goal weight. It's very flattering-- ruching, covered tummy, etc. It looks a little retro, but that's in right now, and there are lots of knockoffs in dept. stores that are a bit cheaper. I bought mine on ebay because stores had already stopped carrying them this year.
  • Thanks for the ideas! Maybe I can throw something together from a store for now. I think accesorize! Make an outfit! I got some cool sandels today, If anybody wants that link..........You know back in the late 80's early 90's they had these minimizing suits they were one pieces that sucked in your stomach and chest, and made you look 10 pounds lighter, do they still make those suits, because I think the right one piece would be perfect, last time I wore my tankini in the waves at Atlantic city it was bad news!!!
    LOL!!
  • I love suits from It Figures - they tell you what "problem" each suit is best for. Here's a few links that sell them -
