I have an interesting phenomena happen while I am losing weight. I seem to look thinner immediately after I've started dropping a few pounds, and then I seem to look super fat for a few days before a whoosh, and then I feel and look a bit thinner again. Does this happen to others? Any idea why? My stomach looks like it's protruding today and I feel like I look fatter than I did last wk in the same mirror, though my clothes are looser and I have lost on the scale. It really bothers me! Anyone else go through this?
Sounds like maybe you're bloated? Or your eyes are playing tricks on you!
Is it possible that you're just bloated from eating? This may be especially true if you're consuming a lot of sodium on and off. Carbs may also bloat you.
