My name's Amanda & I'm a 21-year-old, recently single, stay-at-home mom. I've been overweight pretty much since I was in Elementary School (8 or so years old). A little better than four years ago I managed to get down to a healthy weight of 134lbs, then I ended up getting pregnant and gained around about 30lbs. Now I'm
finally (as of today, woohoo!) back down to my pre-pregnancy weight and I'm starting to believe that I'll really actually be able to make it to my current goal weight of 123lbs, which is rather exciting for me since I don't think I've been that low since 5th or 6th grade!
So far, my plan of attack is doing the Power 90 program (3 weeks into it right now) and aiming to eat 1500-1700 calories a day. Before I started P90, I did a kettle bell workout nearly every morning for three months & lost 15lbs. Hopefully I can lose this last 13lbs with P90, then I plan on giving the Couch-to-5k program a shot (and maybe, some day in the distant future, actually do a 5k race)
