Good Morning Everyone

I'm up early today so thought I'd get an early start since no one else able to get on yet.

Sounds like a lot of you have snow, sure wish we could get that here in So. Cal. Instead we have temp. in the low 70's and lots of sunshine.

I havent been able to continue at TOPS, I was working, and now I've been out everyday looking, and looking, I think I'm going to take a class and learn a new skill.

Has anyone ever tried overeatters annomyous? I'm considering attending a meeting, there is one held the next city over on a Saturday morning? maybe that is along the line that I need.

The ladys at TOPS were so nice to vist with, they make people feel great, they have great ideas too, but nothing seemed to click with me except for the fact that they all were nice.

gotta go think I'll lay down for awhile before the day starts.

Had a good day yesterday. My girlfriend came over for lunch and we had a nice visit...I made lots of yummy food and ate to much of it otherwise it was all good!

DD4 is having a playdate today after kindergarten so that is nice for her. That was my goal for Jan...arranging more playdates for her....otherwise she is pretty bored...also have her in gymnastics and swimming lessons. She found a lot of the at home time pretty boring.

Well not sure what else I am gonna so today.

Went to chat yesterday both day and evening and have pretty much given up hope that the chat will ever be back.

Liz - were you able to get into the chatroom at all? or did you get in and no one was there? As soon as I get done with all this year end stuff I'm hoping to have more time during the day where I can get in there and chat a little bit - maybe we should set a time to meet there sometime soon.

Ladypal - I'm sure all of those programs are good - Tops, Overeaters Annon, Weight Watchers, all of them are great - just gotta find what works for you and what you like.

Leens never did get back in yesterday did she - must be busy at work too? and LindaT, Tippy, Barca? where are yall???

Cin I hope you have great meetings today - I know WW must be packed right now since everybody gets with it in January! :-)

I got up at 5:00 when hubby got up to go duck hunting. Did a 2 mile walk aerobics tape, and then got cleaned up and ready for work. I always feel so much better when I can get that done first thing in the morning - just starts my day out right and then it seems like everything else goes better too, the water drinking, eating right. It just keeps me focused.

Im busy at work so I will check back in later and read everybody's messages.

I just put chicken in the oven for lunch. I am trying the new Chicken Helper for Chicken. It is augraten potatoes and you add the chicken breasts. Chris wanted mac 'cheese so now he can have his cheese this way. It is not the lowest calorie meal but he and Dad will at least have meat and potatoes

The nurse has come and gone. All went well. Being a new one, Chris hollered out when she gave him his B-12 shot. She felt so bad having hurt him. The dummy has no feeling in his hip!! He does this to all the new ones. It is always good for a laugh. It really breaks the ice with them.

Tomorrow the new CaseManager comes. I fired the last one. She kept threatening to throw him in a nursing home. That and making me fill out papers daily. I no longer get paid to care for Chris and the girl who does, is not paid to do this. Soooo, I bucked the system and when she got mad, it was enough. The new one called and she sounds nice. Guess we'll see.

Liz you must just be missing people in chat. We usually meet at the same time. I have missed the last few nights but assume the others showed. Keep trying.

Well the timer just buzzed so I need to go put dinner on the table. Hope all lurkers post and that everyone shows today. Have a good day.

Boy am I busy here, I've said it before and I'll say it again, DON'T WORK FOR A WOMAN !! I do everything but wipe her dupah and I have a feeling thats next

Nothing much new, SOSDD, except its soooo cold outside, makes you wanna snuggle up with a bowl of stew and a good movie, and some carrot cake okay okay !

I had a WW frozen meal for lunch today, Garlic chicken something or other.... do yourself a favor, don't get them. ICK ! I ate it anyway cause I was hungry and have no other food w/me but it was either that or the vending machine

Tonight it will be stir fry. I chopped up a bunch of fresh veggies last night and I have chicken in the frig defrosting, now to find a good sauce (healthy that is).



Time to get back to work, talk to you chickies later, and I'm glad everyone is doing good.

I HAVE to do my walking tape, I need energy.......Linny give me some PLEASE.

I just got back from the light therapy treatment....feeling good today. On the way home...went to get some groceries.
It is snowing heavily here today. Going to have my coffee now. Will try to get back here later.

Not much new here...just getting colder by the minute. It isn't suppose to get above 12 here today. When it gets that cold...I don't think ya feel it anyway...too numb, at least I am

Purchased a stepper last night, needed some change in the exercise routine. Also started Yoga again, not for weight loss, but for stress management and getting some of the kinks out of this old body (sweet and linda...I don't want to hear anything) It really is an amazing form of therapy, if you haven't tried it you should. This time I bought tapes (Rodney Yang) last time I attended a class, which I prefer, but you know how that goes.

Well everyone, stay focused. We can do this, repeat after me, WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!

Sometimes for stir fry I just use low fat italian dressing? or low fat chicken broth....you get all the fresh taste of the veggies and it is healthy?

Wow you guys have been busy. I don't post for a morning and I am way at the bottom. I need to stay on top of this better.

I can't complain about the cold here it is 57 right now. Our cold nights will be Thrusday through Saturday 26 at night. That is pretty cold for us, right Cathy?

My mom has done yoga for about 30 years. I love it, when I can get myself to do it.

Very right Kemp - it was below freezing at my house this morning but this morning the sun was shining and it was nice. Now I just got back from lunch and it is cloudy and grey and cold outside again - very cold for us.

They are saying it will be below freezing the end of the week and REALLY COLD on Sunday - brrrrrrrrrrrrr! I don't know what our temperature is here in Lake Charles right now Kemp, but I know it is way below 57. I'm cold! It's probably headed your way, grab a coat girlie!

Thanks. I hate it when it is cold here. It is a wet cold. To me it makes it worse. I am so not prepared for this weather. I left my gloves at home and I am wearing a sweatshirt today. I am going to freeze when I leave here tonight.
