New to Medifast

  • Hey all!

I'm trying Medifast for the first time after many years of doing Weight Watchers. I lost a lot of weight on WW (about 60 lbs), but then put a lot back on, so I'm ready for something new (especially with a vacation in Mexico looming on the horizon.....)

Anyway, my mother and uncle have had great success on this plan, so I'm excited to see some results. This is day 3 for me and I've already lost 2 lbs, but I'm hoping to get that boost of energy that supposedly comes after 3 days...

And as for what I think of the food so far... well to be perfectly honest I think a few of the things are positively inedible, BUT I really like some of the others and am happy that I can exchange for the ones I like. Looks like I'll be living on peanut butter bars and honey mustard pretzles for a while, lol!
  • Good luck to you. I'm winding down, having lost 14.5 of the 20 to 25 I wish to lose. I needed something for a boost to get me going and now that I'm going I think I can finish on my own. Right now about all I have left is a few shakes and lots of bars. Frankly, if I never have another soup from them I'll be happy! I got really tired of the soups. Anyway, I've been on it since early May (with a few days off here and there).
  • Hey! As you can see, I'm down 13 pounds as of today's date (July 9). Try different foods and you'll find some favorites. Everyone likes something different! It really does work. Be sure to get all your food when you have the lean & green meal--don't try to skimp on the serving size.

    Good luck!
