How many US numerical blouse sizes are there in each of the "letter" sizes (S, M, etc.)? I'm a 22/24/3x at 252ish now and know that a clothing size is usually about 25 or 30 lbs. for me, and was just trying to guess at what weight I'll be able to get into XL blouses again.

I believe that each letter size has two numerical sizes associated to it. However it really depends on the brand to know which two. I'm usually a medium which can be a 6/8 or an 8/10. So I would think an XL would be 12/14 or a 14/16 depending on the store.

XL (16/18)
L (12/14)
M (8/10)
S (4/6)

I'm shorter than you, at 5'2". I started wearing an XL around 215-220, depending on the brand. I was wearing a 3x at 267. But of course, a lot of that depends on your body shape, the type of exercise you do, genes...
