I am currently on 40mg of prednisone a day for my asthma. I am also taking a z-pack. I am ravenous today. I haven't fallen off track yet but it is only 2:30 pm and I am starving. I've tried pickles, I had some soy puffs, I don't know how I'm going to get thru this week. I'm trying to keep myself occupied. I just scrubbed my kitchen floor and bathroom.

Prednisone is a steroid - that's why you're so hungry. I'm sorry! How long do you have to be on it?

1 week...I put off taking it for a couple weeks but I was really bad so I needed it...I just bought some of the big claussen pickles....maybe those will help me out a little
