SNAP!! I decided that the scales were my enemy last year when I was trying to lose weight!! I would get on them every day...it became almost a compulsion and I couldn't stop myself. Eventually I fell off my diet because I just thought I wasn't getting anywhere...maybe if I had weighed myself a little less I wouldn't have been so dis-heartened. I don't own a set of scales now..they went in the bin when I decided to try again a few weeks ago, I am now walking the mile or so to my cousins house every monday to get weighed....I find it gives me something to work towards as she is also trying to lose weight and we get weighed on the same day
