Points Quiz?

  • Hi Everyone,

I am following the new PointsPlus plan, but not going to meetings. Can anyone tell me how I can go about finding out how many points I get each day as I lose weight? Do I still lose a point a day for every 10 pounds I lose, or is it more since the points per day are higher?

    Any help is appreciated!
  • If you're not going to meetings, I'm not sure what materials you were given in your starter kit... or are you using the Online program? If you're using and tracking online, I know that it will automatically help you figure out the points as you lose weight.

I'm not sure if there's a quiz you repeat take from the materials that you get at meetings or if there's a kit you'll need to have if you're following it at home.

The OLD quiz used to be "take off one point per 10 pounds lost", but the new program is entirely different. So you can't do it the same way.
  • Thanks, Lovely! There's no points quiz in the first week materials, so I might have to break down an periodically go to a meeting to get my points updated.

I read on WW forum that it goes down a point every time you lose 6 pounds, which kind of makes sense given the ratio of points I used to get to points I get now.
  • I'm confused. If you're not going to meetings are you doing it online? That information will pop up for you in the online system. Or are you just using someone else's old material?

There's no quiz. The points are changed automatically. I'm not sure about the 6 lb thing.

That math doesn't work either based on my weight loss. I don't think you can plug in a simple formula and come up with a calculation. Your age also factors in to the points total.
  • i think they're trying to get the information without going to WW and paying.
Im no longer on WW but i stilled paid for it for some months.

The online will tell you when you lose a certain amount.
  • If you have a calculator you can plug in your info periodically. Otherwise, we're technically not allowed to share formulas (even if we knew them) with you.
