size and weight comparison chart

  • I thought it would be interesting to see our starting weights and sizes in a chart and our current weights and sizes and our goal weights and sizes.

I really need to get a perspective on these things. Have fun

  • I think it is interesting the difference in sizes we wear even if our weights are close to the same. Depends on where we carry our extra weight. Mine is around the middle so I have to buy jeans a little bigger but then they are sloppy on my legs. I have been told that it is usually a size smaller for every 10 pounds we lose. But, when we get towards the smaller sizes, it is less than 10 pounds per size. Does that make sense? I hope so I keep a pair of my 18 jeans hanging in my bathroom just so I remember where I started at. They look huge now. I slip them on every now and then just to pat myself on the back. They are the only pair I kept just to remind myself and they were tight on me and I always hung them up to dry so they wouldn't shrink in the dryer back then.
  • Great Idea Darbs!!!! Thanks for starting this -- it is fun to see it all laid out. Very inspiring
  • Darbs, we're the same height and about the same weight right now and you're way smaller than me! It's amazing how different bodies are!
  • Wow....it is so weird how different we are all.
  • Great idea!!
  • I'm impressed. Isn't that just crazy how different we are, even when we are the same height?
  • Luv your ideas Darb. As always thank you
  • Okay, I found a great site for this. Regular women upload pictures of themselves, so you can search by height, weight, body shape, pant size, etc... It is mybodygallery.com. Great for motivation!
  • This whole thing really interests me. I cannot believe the differences. I love the mybodygallery.com website.
  • great idea!!
  • Bumpy
  • Thanks for laying this out! If it wasn't for my lower belly fat, I'd be at least a size smaller in pants....ugh!
  • Wow....as I look at the data is is unbelievable how different we all are. I think that is why BMI is only one measure, but body fat percentage and distrubution are also major factors in determining health.

I think I will invest in a total body analysis....now to find a place near me that does it.
