  • Thought I'd start a new thread, in preparation of all this big losses that will be ours, over the next few weeks

Same as before, just post you losses (or gains ) on whatever day you weigh in and I'll tally it up on a Monday

We lost 11 stone 11 lbs in under 6 months last year, this year we will be amazing

2003 is going to be our year
  • Thanks Carol! i will be going to WW on Sat nmorning, if I dare, eeeeek!!
  • I'll be there Monday night - am changing classes - will be scary
  • Hope this one works. Have been having trouble posting.

Somehow I managed to lose 3lb over the past fortnight. And that was without exercising. Have now lost my first stone.
  • YO!!! LEIGH-R WELL DONE ON THE WEIGHT LOSS OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD!!!!!

How on earth did you manage that????

Well done again, gal, and congrats to ALL of us who have made that amazing total over the year!!
    WE ARE FANTASTIC!!!!!
  • Wow Leigh you are a super hero(ine), well done!!
  • TY all. Not sure how I did. I didn't exercise, overate a little and had a booze session on New Years Eve. Hmmm wonder if it'll work every week??? Only kidding I am back on track now.
  • Well done Leigh, our first loss of 2003
  • Congrats leigh-r

My official start date is Monday - hubby wants to take me out to dinner tomorrow to make up for my wonderful Christmas
  • OMG!!
I have just been to WW, I have gained a big fat 10lb!!
    HELP I need counselling!!
Oh well, ToM arriving this morning hasn't helped matters but can't blame it on that........I'll get me coat!!
  • Oh TQ, don't worry. You're not the only one. I'm sure I've gained loads after coming off the diet completely. I'm still not back on it properly (yesterday I ate 3 bowls of ice cream!!!). A few days ago I went to Boots and found that I've put on about 5lbs, so God knows how much it'll be by next Tuesday!

I have this feeling that if I've put on a lot it's not worth carrying on with the diet. I know it's wrong, as I can't have put back on everything I'd lost in two weeks, and even if I had, it's still worth losing it again. But you've lost so much that this is just a blip, and I hope you had a fun Xmas putting it all on. I know I did.
  • Yes mini gem I did have a good one!! The proof of the pudding is on the scales
  • well girls like you I've had a really bad weigh in too I gained 9lbs...the only difference is my crime is just being a woman...i;'ve done nothing wrng as far as eating goes, but TOM has raised its ugly head...I knew it was going to be a bad one this month because I have been getting more and more bloated daily since last friday...yesterday I had to resort back tio wearing a pair of size 16 jeans because I just couldn't get into anything else. At the time I didn't feel as though I had been deprived of anything over christmas and new year, tho I could have murdered for some of all the chocolate gateauxs that were floating around, but I didn't give in....now I am asking myself was it all worth it...of course I know it is really and at least this 9lb is just fluid, if I had given in it would have been more and not just fluid. still its only 9lbs and not the highest I have ever gained at this time of the month...looking back since I started keeping track of my weight gains at this time my highest was 21lbs gain...and it didn't all come off the following week it took 2
I am totally miserable today now...not the way I wanted to start the new year off

    Ali
  • It will go just as it came. Very annoying though, I thought the weigher was going to laugh when she saw the scales, good job she didn't !! Not a very encouraging start to the day though!!
  • I've looked at my journal and i've been this weight for the last 3 weeks so i guess i have'nt gained anything over the holidays now i'm planning on seeing the numbers go down.
