So I show up for bootcamp today and my trainer decides let's make it a "Good Friday" by challenging ourselves to run 5km!! (my chin hit the floor) Although I feel confident running small distances, we usually do 1-2 Km at bootcamp anyhow and I do that 3x per week I did not think I could actually run 5km. To my surprise I ran 5.27 km today without stopping and it actually wasn't even that bad I don't know why I was so worried. So proud of myself. It only took me 40 minutes... now I can see myself really getting into this running thing cause damm, it felt sooooo good!

Anyone else care to share a NSV this Easter weekend?

I am going to start training for a 5k (eventually a 10k, half marathon, and then a full marathon) next week!

I am pretty nervous, as I have never been a runner.. But I suppose we will see what happens!!

Oh that's neat. 5k is about 3 miles right? I've been working on running that and I should be running it by next week! Great job!

Non-scale victory...we like to celebrate those because the scale isn't the only way to measure progress!
