Food Logs for 12/30 week

  • Im not sure why, but the sugar cravings are not going away!! Im having a very hard time!

    Breakfast, 2 eggs with cheese
    Lunch, coleslaw
    Supper, chicken with 1 cup broccoli

    Might make a broccoli soup today and have that instead of the coleslaw.

  • I'm back on the LC wagon !!
    Since planning on my surgery I've hardly been LC - back on track as of today!

    Monday

    B-2 scrambled eggs w/cheese & diced ham - 3 decaf
    L-turkey breast & small salad
    D-turkey breast, green beans, salad - maybe another veggie

    If an in between snack is used it'll be restricted to cheese, hard boiled eggs, summer sausage or pork rinds with salsa.

    Water instead of diet pepsi's for me today! Well, maybe just one!

    BTW Robin - Instead of sticking to three main meals, does your plan allow for mini meals? Maybe try to boost some protein snacks in between to control those cravings. Or, how about your portion sizes? Eating only coleslaw for lunch would have me craving a cow by dinner! lol
  • Usually Im not hungry inbetween meals....but the coleslaw has lots of bacon in it lol

    I get tired of eggs all the time....and I cant do the pork rinds, they give me wicked heart burn. The roast beef from the deli, is too rare....ok, i'll quit my *****in' lol

    I do have some meat usually precooked and in the fridge for snacking.
  • Heres mine for today

    B-3 sausage links, 1 hard boiled egg, 1 oz string cheese
    L-1 oz cheese, 1 cup pork rinds, 1 can tuna
    D-2 chicken breasts, 2 cups spinach salad

    The cravings for sugar are pretty much gone. I havent had a headache since the first day (today is day three). I have lost 3lbs already and feeling good about this!
  • Here's mine for the day so far:

    B; 2 fried eggs 4 strips bacon & 1c Coffee

    L; burger (w/o bun) 1.5 c lettus 2oz's cucumber 1 oz cheese.

    D; Prime Rib (hubbys b-day hope it turns out never made one before ) And a side of Broccoli for me & green bean cass for him.

    Supper, taco salad

    Herbal tea for snacks

    and it hurts! My head, I feel achey, and cobwebby

    Here is whats for today

    Breaky, boiled egg
    Lunch, roast beef dipped in mustard
    Supper, Chicken and ceasar salad

    Tea for this afternoon and later tonight

    B:
    2 egg omelet with 1 tbsp cream cheese
    4 slices bacon

    L:
    2 pieces baked chicken
    cole slaw with l.c. dressing

    Snack
    2 handfuls of mixed salted nuts (gotta stop that)

    D:
    2 more pieces of baked chicken
    brocolli with melted cheese

    Snack
    1 oz cream cheese flavored with 1/2 tsp Crystal lite powder. (surprisingly good)
