    Rye bread is actually considerably lower than whole wheat bread on the glycemic index. Just watch the supermarket varieties that contain white flour.

  • I'm most likely to order rye bread when out at a restaurant. Whole wheat breads available at restaurants are rarely whole wheat so I was wondering if rye was a better option. There is actually a restaurant near me that does grilled cheese in a convection oven rather than grilled, so they are not at all greasy - that is what I was thinking about having! Did you know it is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich month?
