12 WEEK CHALLENGE -- Week #10

  • HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE

    OK Challengettes... it's Week 10!

And the night before the night before Xmas.

Wish I still had a copy of that funny poem I found last year about food and Xmas. Ah well.

The only thing that's gonna allow me to maintain is exercise. So once again I'm going to commit to doing some form of exercise every day.

What's going to work for you this week?
  • I think what will work for me is a new commitment to myself. Too many of those Xmas photos (ah the joys of digital photography) showed rolls and I don't mean bread rolls. No, rolls around the middle. Come to think of it, maybe I do mean bread rolls and cookie rolls, etc. etc. etc.

So I'm going to AGAIN try to stick to the points the water and the exercise the journalling and after the new year when my local WW reopens, the meetings. And I'm going to try to stop punishing myself for my various miscontents with food. So self-destructive.

Amen and to all a good night.
  • Good morning!

What's gonna work this week for me--journaling! I need to get back into the groove with keeping it up.

I went to a meeting on Tuesday morning (Christmas Eve) so that I could get a little motivation to stay on track over the holiday. Anyway, I posted a 1.4# gain again! I know it's due in part to my not journaling and it was truly a wake up call! I'm up to 140# and I'm not at all happy about that!

Yesterday I journaled and even though I was over my points range it's still written down. I've started a clean page this morning and I'm planning on staying in the 18-23 range. I will have my weight below 140 for my January weigh in!

Not much else happening around here. We had our "White Christmas" and the trees and houses looked like a Courier & Ives picture.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
