Hi there! I'm new...Weight loss plateau!

  • I began my weight loss journey in early 2011 and have become a true wellness enthusiast. I created a personal blog, to hold myself accountable by sharing with others my ups and downs. The commitment that I made to myself and my family was to get fit and healthy for our future. Every day is a victory, every workout and every meal counts. If I happen to slip up, I just pick my self up off the floor and dust myself off. I have signed up to 3FC because I hear that this is the place to be for support from people that are going throug the same struggles as me. I am currently trying to break free of a weight loss plateau and would appreciate any advice / opinions.
  • You don't give enough information to help you. What do you eat, how much do you exercise, etc. You say you are on a plateau and for that to be true you weight has to have remained the same for 4 weeks.

Thanks for replying, It hasn't been 4 weeks yet but it has been 3 weeks since I last had any weight loss. I have been tracking my meals and exercises diligently so here goes my last 2 weeks average:

Before subtracting my exercise, I am eating an average of 1342 a day.
I work out 5 days a week and my workouts consist of 10 minutes stretching, 12 minute high intensity interval training (20 seconds of exercise (max reps), 10 seconds of rest for 12 minutes), 15 minutes of strength training w/resistance bands and a 10 minute cool down.

You're new too! Tell me more about yourself.

I am a happily married mother of 3. I started by weight loss journey early 2011, resolution style I have really been motivated since mid - february! I have been watching what I eat, exercising regularly and keeping active on days that I don't exercise. I started at 237.8 pounds and I am at 221. My first goal is to get out of the 200's and so I'm aiming for 198. I'm hoping to reach 160 pounds in the end. How about you?
