  • Is their a major point difference between most salad dressings?

Is it best to go light or FF?

Any salad dressing that are really a must try? I know some light or ff really taste bad and I want to save myself from wasting $

    Thanks
  • Hellmann's Honey and Mustard is lovely.

I'm not a fan of lemon and black pepper dressing.
  • I use light dressings. I hate Fat Free salad dressing. It's worth the points for me. I want to enjoy what I'm eating. And I can and not have a full fat dressing.

My favorites are the Mazaretti Light Blue Cheese and Light Ranch.
  • I use full fat dressings but thin them down with vinegar/water or skim milk for creamy dressings. I like them to spread throughout my salads - lettuce or even potato salad.

I love love love Maple Grove Farms of Vermont Sugar Free Bacon Vinaigrette. Oh so good!
  • Anything you make from scratch!

Try olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, a little honey & mustard (and garlic, optional)
  • I use Walden Farms salad dressings - No fat, calories, or carbs and it's Gluten free.
  • I don't use storebough dressings much anymore because they are generally so high in sodium and I'm trying to watch my salt intake.

I use flavored vinegars a lot (white raspberry, blueberry pomegranate) and oil (to get in my daily requirement).

    I do like Ken's Light Options Sweet Vidalia dressing - it's 2 PP for 2 T
  • I always use 2 tsp of olive oil and balsmaic vinegar. It's an easy way to get in my oils and it's cheaper because i always have that on hand.
  • Every time I've decided to try a FF dressing, it ended up in the trash after the first bite.
  • my must-have dressing. Sugar free Raspberry vinaigrette. 0 points!.. BOOYAH
  • I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Hendrickson's Sweet Vinegar and Olive Oil dressing. No stores around me sell it, so my best friend's mother buys it near her house (out of state) and brings it back for us when she comes to visit. It's 2pp for 2Tbs. I eat it every day to get my oils in.
  • I use both full fat and light salad dressings. FF salad dressing is GROSS (in my experience).
  • I use a full fat balsamic vinagrette from trader joe's. i only use a bit, like a tablespoon and its 2 pts.
  • Hidden Valley Light Ranch = DELICIOUS!!
I hate Fat Free Dressing, so nasty!
  • The only FF dressing that I like is Maple Grove Farms FF Cranberry Balsamic. It's really good! I'm very sensitive to FF substitutes and artificial flavors. Yuck! Usually I use 2 teaspoons of olive oil and some flavored or aged balsamic.

Kimberly, I wish I liked Walden Farms! To have calorie things that taste good would be a dream. But there is some kind of chemical in their products that I have a serious clash with. I've never tried anything of their's that I could swallow. I scraped the Walden Farms caramel off my tongue with a plastic knife. But they must not affect many people that way, because they're still going strong.
