Taro

  • I just bought some pre-peeled and don't see it on the list. Is it allowed on IP for Phase I?
  • I love taro yummy. I am new here and not an expert, but I would assume that it is not allowed. this site.... tells you that for 100g peeled and boiled it is 23.5 carbs, so thats pretty much a whole days worth.
Sorry I know they are YUMMY

I've never had it fresh, just the chips and I love it. Oh well. Maybe later on I can try it.

Taro is a root, a corm to be specific, and is therefore similar to potatoes, sweet potatoes, and yams. And unfortunately, not on the standard IP select or occasional vegetable list.

Thanks, I guess I'll either have to toss or give to a neighbor.
