Leens what kind of work do you do again?

Had fun in the chat last night for a while...Linda T, Ruth, Cin, and Miki were there. I was flying solo as hubby had a meeting so I did have to do the homework and bed thing so couldn't stay long but it was nice to see everyone.

I have a cold and sore throat. I have to work evenings Fri and Sat and Days on Sunday....so the party is over Can't complain though as I have had lots of time of as of late.

Does anybody have a good idea for gift for hubby. I think we have almost done all our shopping for the kids, teachers etc and now just a few loose ends....I bought him some shirts and willl buy him some nice cologne...but other than that I wish I could come up with something that he would really like.

Well I hope you are feeling better Kemp...and I hope we hear from everyone.

Hey Leenie and Liz, and everybody else to come.

I think I am just about done shopping too Liz. I just have a few stocking stuffers to tend to. I went to Academy at noon (man that place was a zoo) and picked up the bbq pit/smoker that I got for hubby and they loaded it in the back of the truck which I just happened to have today because my dear hubby is fixing the brakes on my car. Then I had the guys here at the shop unload it and hide it til Christmas. shhhhhhhh

Liz, does your hubby like any kind of music? what about a cd of his favorite music? or a movie he likes? does he have a dvd player? does he have any hobbies? my hubby is pretty easy because he loves to hunt and there is always something to go with that, and then this year he just really needs a bbq pit - ours is about 20 years old and pitiful. He will be excited!

You will think of something!

What's everybody doing this weekend? My oldest son is taking the ACT tomorrow morning which is the entrance exam for college here in the states. He needs 1 point higher then he made last time in order to qualify for TOPS which the a college scholarship in Louisiana. I need to do a little cleaning and a little baking and a little wrapping. Sunday school and church on Sunday, and then I'm helping the same son type up his final English research paper. He has 10 actual days of school left and then he will be finished with his classes and graduate in May with his class. This is ANSWERED PRAYER as he has been struggling with a chemical imbalance, but the meds and counseling are helping and he is determined and making it! PRAISE THE LORD!

I'm sure my youngest son has a couple of zillion things going on, I just don't know about them yet. haha

Well gang I sure hope everybody is having a good day.

Listen time had flown by again. Lizzy I work for a pharmaceutical company in discovery & research.

About the gift for hubby ??????? I'm in a slump too. I was thinking of a telescope but they are very confusing to shop for since I don't know squat about them. All I want is an easy beginners one, nothing fancy but I want a good quality one. Don't know what I'm looking for or what those words mean when your compairing them on the web ???? uhh.

If you figure something good out, let me know.
