should I buy a digital scale?

  • Hi,
I was just wondering if you all prefer a digital scale to weigh yourself, or like me have a regular old one with numbers at each "ten" and lines in between. I think I may like a more accurate reading.

Can you get a decent digital scale for under forty dollars?

    Thanks for your opinions-

  • I paid $30 for mine at Shopko. I had the same concern you did - I ask about the scale being accurate. The store said it had a 1 year return on the scale.
Ask the store the policy and make sure to keep your receipt and the box.

    Good Luck

  • I used a digital scale for awhile, but when the battery starts to die, you'll be thinking you lost 10# in a week.
  • I bought my digital scale at Target for around $40. I like it a heck of a lot because I have trouble reading the other type of scale - I'm just dumb I guess I've only had mine for around 4 months so I haven't had the battery issue yet.
  • my sister had one and the battery died, and it never worked right after that. notice how i said my SISTER had one.. i REFUSE to buy a scale.. it'd just make me WAAAAYYYY too nuts.
  • I have a digital and it works just fine. I'd like to buy one of those really nice doctor ones, but I refuse to spend the money!
  • Hey Jiffy... you mean more NUTS then normal???
  • Sherry-

I bought a great digital scale for under $40 and love it! I hated the analog kind because I see the reading past my boobs. The one I bought holds the reading for a few seconds so you can step off it and read it. I also don't have to worry about the battery issue because I bought a solar powered scale. Good luck.
