I went to school with Yancy and Debra Spencer. Little did one of my friends (Susan) in jr hi know that he would be her BIL later in life. Yancy was fun, had a great outlook on life and a friendly attitude. I only went to school with him. i didn't know him in adulthood. Yancy walked the walk that he talked. So young. Makes you wonder why you take care of yourself. He loved his family, surfing and God was so very important in his life.

I am so sorry for your loss. I googled (because we spend a lot of time on the Gulf Coast so I was curious) and it sounds like he lived a wonderful life and was loved by many.

I wonder how big the chapel is. There were over 1,200 people at his funeral. The paddle out is today.
