Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Today is the big day, wish me luck. I'm ready for the big move to California.

I'm cheating just a little since it is still Sunday evening out here in Northern California but hope you all will forgive me as I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I am still around and although not up to posting much right now, am trying to follow the plan the best I can.

The last time I posted, I asked for your support and positive vibes as I was once again in major a fib and not doing well at all. Last Monday I had a cardioversion but the darn old heart just wouldn't cooperate and it failed to convert to a normal sinus rhythm.

So now I have been referred to a larger more specialized hospital down in lower California and on Tuesday they are going to try another cardioversion.

Trying to stay positive but let me tell you, this a fib is no fun at all. Two weeks ago I was walking 45 minutes a day and now I can barely walk across the room.

So, hopefully I will be back later this week with good news and able to get back to the beach full time. Miss talking with you all.

I am semi on-plan today. Will be back on the horse tomorrow. Just enjoying some special treats with my loves today. Lukas and I went for a walk this morning. I haven't been walking (for exercise LOL) sine he was born. It's good to get back to it. I'd like to start running again but I don't have any daylight hours without the baby and we don't have the kind of stroller that would hold up to running, so I'll hopefully be able to make that a goal after the move.

Tall and Thin, I must have missed your post earlier. I am so sorry that you are not feeling well and hope this new procedure works.

As for me, I'll be on plan today. AF arrived, so now I can move forward (and hope for a loss on the scale on Friday). Unfortunately I also feel like I am coming down with a cold which SUX. In any case, I'm looking forward to an on plan week with NO cheating. Hope everyone has a great day...

Hello Kara, I think I'll be indulging a little bit today too. Valentine's Day is such a fun holiday with little kids. Our Valentine celebration is my favorite school celebration. We have 'heart healthy' food at our party but the gifts that roll in.... wow! Fergie is fixing supper because I've got a late meeting tonight - but he's fixing one of our favorite on plan meals so hopefully I won't do any real damage today.

Lisa, what a day to jump back on plan! Party day at school! Seriously though, we all have rough times, the trick is getting right back on plan again. Good for you getting back on track. *hug* I hope you have an awesome week.

Matilda, sorry about the cold. Do you use Zicam or similar products? I used to scoff at them but now I'm a believer. And as an elementary school teacher I'm an expert on dodging colds. Is your son excited about Valentines Day?

Snow again today and frigid weather right behind it tonight. I'm not quite ready to say good bye to winter but I am more than ready for dry sidewalks, driveways and playgrounds again!

Good morning I'm not sure where my weekend went but I'm ready for another one already.

I am happy that Monday staff meetings have been moved to 10 AM so I don't have to leave at 7 anymore. That was a tough way to start the week!

Not much going on around here. We don't really do anything for V-Day. In fact DW is off to camera club tonight so we won't even have dinner together. The weekend contained more than enough off plan foods for both of us, so just as well

We celebrated yesterday at my DD's, which is just as well since I have a long day and will be getting home late this evening. At least there's no snow in our forecast for the next week, but it's windy as all getout out there!

My DH closes on Mondays and does not get home until after I am asleep. We exchanged cards last night. We are not big celebraters, so it is all good. Since I don't have a classroom I do not have to worry about a Valentine's Day party. I usually walk around and make sure my kiddos are handling theres. It also helps with not getting unwanted treats. However, I was informed Girl Scout cookies are in. We did buy some. My DS wanted some. I will give him a few and the rest will go in my mom's freezer. My brother always invites people over and my mom can feed them to a bunch of teenagers.

Kirks neck has turned into more than just a stiff neck. He's down and quite miserable. I had an afwul day yesterday, foodwise. Knowing what today is going to bring I've made a plan which includes my morning fruit but no grain. I went overboard on bread yesterday. I have alot to take care of now and am going to make taking care of me a priority, too.

So good to hear from Tall and Thin and we are so hoping for good results in her next procedure. What a scary thing!

It's Monday, Monday around here. I did my V-Day celebrating last night with a group of other "single" women and kids. I'm the grandma of the group but it was fun. One of the women was Joanne whose husband died in November. It was the first time she had entertained since then so it was "a good thing". We plan to try for "family dinner" monthly - four women cooking and bringing a dish and some wine, dogs, kids - how can it go wrong!

Need to get my car looked at tomorrow morning. the right front when is making groaning noises when it starts up which I can no longer ignore. There are times when I wish I were married just so someone else can look after this! The thought is very fleeting!

I had a mixed weekend - it was the worst off plan I've been since January 3rd, but I also ate a lot of really nutrient packed food. I got my first run in since October as well.

I'm not making promises to myself about today - but I'm planning a clean 14 day Phase I.5 beginning tomorrow. (And probably won't be checking the scale till the end of that

Eating Primally was great in that I lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks but it was not great in that I was stressed and miserable the whole time and as soon as a carb crossed my lips I went ape!
